The Cooperative
Research Centre for Cast Metals Manufacturing is the premier R&D
provider for the Australian light metals industry. The Centre is
funded by a partnership between Australian industry, Federal and
State governements and research providers worth over AUD$100 M over
7 years to 2006.

CAST also manages
a comprehensive program of education
and training at levels from technician to undergraduate and
